Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: August 7, 2026
Sunset Biological Dentistry is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. Accessibility is part of how we think about care: the goal is that everyone can find what they need here and reach us easily.
What We Aim For
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines are the widely accepted standard for making web content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
What We Have Built In
- A “skip to main content” link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
- Descriptive alternative text on images that carry meaning.
- Text and background colors checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Headings in a logical order so screen readers can navigate by structure.
- Form fields with visible labels, correct input types, and clear error messages.
- Links written to make sense out of context, rather than relying on “click here.”
- Layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling down to small phone screens.
- Text that can be resized in the browser without breaking the page.
Ongoing Work
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We review the site as we add pages and content, and we correct issues as we find them. Some third-party content we embed, such as maps, is not fully under our control, and its accessibility may vary.
Tell Us If Something Does Not Work
If you run into a barrier on this site, or you need information from it in a different format, we want to hear about it. Please tell us what page you were on and what happened, and we will work with you to get you the information you need.
