Clear aligners are a discreet, removable way to straighten teeth without brackets or wires. That part is well understood.
What gets less attention is what alignment actually does. How your teeth fit together influences how you chew, how evenly the bite is loaded across your jaw, and in some cases how open your airway is while you sleep. A crowded or narrow arch isn’t only a cosmetic pattern.
So the first conversation isn’t about how long treatment takes. It’s about what your bite is currently doing, and whether moving it would genuinely help.
Digitally Planned, Start to Finish
Treatment begins with a digital scan, no impression trays, no material setting in your mouth. From that scan we build a 3D plan that maps each tooth’s movement from where it is now to where it’s going.
You then wear a series of custom, nearly invisible aligners, moving to the next set as your teeth shift. They come out to eat and to brush, so nothing leaves your diet and your hygiene stays simple.
Most adults find that few people notice they’re in treatment at all.
Treatment That Has to Earn Its Place
Where it’s appropriate, aligner treatment can be planned to improve not just how teeth look, but how they function day to day. When airway is part of the picture, Dr. Mersedeh may sequence or combine care with other supportive approaches.
And when clear aligners aren’t the right tool for your goals, she’ll say so. A plan that looks good on a screen but doesn’t serve your bite isn’t worth starting.
